Forum Posting Guidelines
The Family Allies Network (FANet) is published in accordance with the purposes of the sponsoring organization, the Domestic Violence Intervention Project, to advance the understanding of family violence and bring together activists, advocates and allies working to end family violence in Lane County, Oregon. Toward that end, FANet will publish a Forum Discussion series which will include 6 Topic areas over 12 months. Comments received for each Forum Topic will be reveiwed and potentially posted based on the following guidelines:
- Comments will be posted that help increase understanding of relevant issues
and topics as well as those that advance collaborative work to address them.
- Decisions to post are typically based on the comment's (1) relevance r.e.
the topic & website mission; (2) originality (in an effort to avoid undue repetition);
and (3) clarity.
- Changes to comments will not typically be substantive; if substantive changes
are necessary the author will be notified. A revision may be requested.
- Changes to comments will typically include grammar; editing for length; editing
for clarity.
- Comments will not necessarily be posted in their entirety.
- Comments will not necessarily be posted.
- All materials received will be reviewed by the FANet Forum Editor for each
topic area.
- Posting decisions will be made by the FANet Forum Editor for each topic area
and the FANet Coordinator.
- Posting decisions will be made within 5 days of receipt.
