Womenspace
offers free support groups in Eugene, Springfield, Junction City, and Oakridge. All groups are drop-in and have free childcare. For safety reasons, the locations are confidential. Womenspace also offers a free, closed support group for battered lesbians. For more information, call the Lesbian Alliance at (541) 302-2417, or call the crisis line at 465-6513 or 1-800-281-2800 or TDD (541) 485-7262.

Weekly Chat Group for Girls (ages 14-18)
Girls in abusive homes or relationships can find peer support in the group, but all girls are welcome. at varying times in a different school every six-eight weeks.

Sexual Assault Support Services
offers free support groups in Eugene.

Domestic Violence Groups for Women and Young Children - contact Lee Anne Wichmann at 484-4428 for more information.

• Women's Group for women with small children - a 12 week closed group focusing on the dynamics of domestic violence and exploring the impact of battering on women and children. The importance of safety is emphasized and group members develop individualized safety plans.
• Women's Group - a 16 week closed focuses on th edynamics of domestic violence and explores th eimpact of battering on women and children
• Building Safe Families Groups for Kids ages 5-6, 7-9, and 10-12 and their parents/caregivers. Thursdays from 4:15 to 5:30pm.
• Children's Group - also a 12 week closed group for children 4-6 years old who have witnessed domestic violence. This group focuses on feelings and safety using art, games, songs, and play.
• Older Children's Group - 8 week groups for children (ages 4-5; 6-8; 9-12) who have been exposed to domestic violence in their home. Focuses on safety, self-esteem, and teaching kids that domestifc violence is not their fault.
• SAFE-T Groups (Sexually Abused Families Experiencing Treatment) - 8 week treatment groups for children and teens (6-17) who have experienced sexual abuse, and their parents.

Center for Community Counseling
An eight week closed support group for lesbian and bisexual women starting January 31. It is free, and meets weekly. If you are interested in attending, call Karen Aho at 342-5558.
